Collection consists of 3 drafts of a biography of author Arthur Machen, including holograph and typescript manuscripts, plus a questionnaire sent to Machen and filled out by him, by biographer John Gawsworth (a pseudonym for Terence Ian Fytton Armstrong). Front page of draft 3 entitled "Book II, chapter 1" with note "book 1 ... never written" signed by Gawsworth, 1954. The third draft is interleaved with notes in Machen's handwriting suggesting changes and corrections.
